As part of our commitment to international learning and the teaching of Spanish as our Modern Foreign Language, pupils have participated in a range of cross-curricular projects that have brought language and culture to life. Through art, geography and our pen pal partnership with a school in Seville, Spain, children have explored the traditions, festivals and daily life of Spanish-speaking communities. They have developed their understanding of different countries and cultures through creative artwork, geographical research and meaningful communication with their Spanish pen pals. These experiences have helped to strengthen language skills, broaden cultural awareness and promote global citizenship, while fostering curiosity, respect and appreciation for the wider world.
