Breakfast and Teatime registration
Our Extended Services
Breakfast Club….
Currently, this runs throughout the school year on both sites. We cater for Reception aged children through to Year 6. Children in Reception to Year 3 have breakfast club on Forest site, they start at 7.30am and Year 4 to Year 6 are on Bridge Site and also start at 7:30 am. We ensure that your child is in the right place at the right time for the start of their school day so that you don't have to worry. A balanced breakfast of cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt and juices are provided daily. During the session, we also offer activities that help prepare your child for their day, children can choose, and are indeed encouraged to socialise during breakfast time, developing their social skills and interactions with their peers in a calm environment.
FOREST SITE - Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 (7.30 am – 8.30 am)
- Children are taken to the school entrance (Red doors) facing Tesco, there is a buzzer to the left of the gate.
- A member of staff will welcome you.
- Children will be encouraged to have a healthy breakfast and do activities with other children.
BRIDGE SITE – Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 (7.30 am – 8.45 am)
- Parents and children will use the gate to the right of the school office, where there is a buzzer on the gate. Please walk your child in to Breakfast club.
- A member of staff will welcome your child.
- Year 5 and Year 6 are allowed to come to school on their own, with parents' permission.
- Children will be encouraged to have a healthy breakfast and do activities with other children.

After School Club…
The After-School Club is on Forest site for pupils in Reception to Year 3 and at Bridge site for pupils in Years 4–6. Both finish at 5.55 pm Monday–Friday. The children are split into 2 sites to ensure that activities offered to our children are tailored to their interests and abilities, but also to their age range. We also offer a variety of engaging physical and social activities during this session. We also offer support with your child's homework, thus taking the pressure off of you, so that when you do get home with your child, you can focus on spending quality time together. The club offers a balanced food menu that compliments both breakfast and lunch menus.
FOREST SITE - Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 (End of the school day - 5:55 pm)
- Children are taken from their classes to the Year 3 hall.
- A member of staff will welcome the children, allow your child to sanitise their hands and take them to their activity area.
- The children will have their after-school tea. (please see school menu)
- Children will engage in various activities throughout the evening.
When collecting your child, please ring the doorbell and wait for a staff member. Parents will not be allowed to enter the school building. While waiting, please remember to keep your social distance.
BRIDGE SITE – Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 (End of the school day - 5:55 pm)
- Children are dismissed from the playground to the Blue building.
- A member of staff will welcome the children, allow your child to sanitise their hands and take them to their activity area.
- The children will have their after-school tea. (please see school menu)
- Children will engage in various activities throughout the evening.
When collecting your child, please call the club’s mobile number and a member of staff will bring your child to you. Parents will not be allowed to enter the school building. While waiting, please remember to keep your social distance.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Children can only attend the club if payment is made.
- If anyone other than the legal guardians are collecting your child, please inform the school office. If it is a last-minute change, let, after 4.30 pm, contact us on the club’s mobile number.
- If you are arriving at 5.55 pm or later to collect your child, you must call the club’s mobile number.
- There is a late collection charge of £20 for the first 10 minutes and then a £1 for every minute after.
Amended Breakfast and Teatime Price:
Breakfast Club: £6.50 per day
Tea Time Club: £12.50 per day
Breakfast & Teatime Club (Wraparound Care)
At Woodside Primary Academy, we are pleased to offer Breakfast Club and Teatime Club as part of our Wraparound Care provision.
From September 2026, all bookings, payments, and administration for Breakfast Club and Teatime Club will be managed by our new partner, Childcare Bookings for Schools (CBfS).
About Childcare Bookings for Schools (CBfS)
CBfS are specialists in supporting schools with wraparound childcare services and have over 20 years of experience managing childcare bookings and administration.
What Does This Mean for Parents?
CBfS provides:
- A simple and easy-to-use online booking system
- 24/7 access to make and amend bookings
- The ability to update contact details and download financial statements
- Dedicated phone and email support, available Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Please note that any queries relating to the day-to-day running of the clubs, such as activities, food, welfare, or lost property, should still be directed to the school.
How to Register
Parents wishing to use Breakfast Club or Teatime Club must register for an account through the CBfS booking system:
Registration is free and takes approximately five minutes. You will need to provide:
- Parent/carer details
- Child(ren)'s details
- Emergency contact information
- Payment information
We recommend registering as soon as possible, even if you do not plan to make bookings immediately.
Making Bookings
Bookings are now open.
Once registered, log in to your account and select Bookings from the menu.
Currently available:
- Permanent Bookings (regular weekly sessions)
Ad-Hoc Bookings: Must be booked no later then 11.30am on the day.
Please note: Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
