Parental Engagement

This term has been a term for celebrating our Ofsted Outstanding judgement with our parents and families.

Celebration Lunches

In October, we welcomed over 600 parents at our celebration lunches. Each year group from Reception to Year 6 had their own day and opportunity to invite their parents/carers in to school. Parents and carers had the opportunity to eat with their children, spend time in the children's classrooms and also to attend enrichment assemblies which showcased a little more of what makes Woodside Outstanding! Our instrumentalists and choir from acrooss the school performed and the children had the opportunity to share their sporting achievements, art work and some Spanish that they have learnt this year. All of the lunches were a great success and it was wonderful to celebrate with so many of our families.

Remember, Remember the 5th of November...

This year's Woodside Fireworks Extravaganza was most definately our best yet and provided another opportunity to celebrate with many of our families. From across the whole school, children and families arrived at school as it was getting dark. With friends, food, glow sticks and a fantastic firework display, it was a hugely successful evening.
